What are clip frames?

Clip frames are aluminium poster holders that sandwich the client’s poster between a transparent front sheet and a solid back sheet. The front sheet is normally clear pvc, but could be polycarbonate, acrylic or PETG to suit varying requirements. Similarly, the back sheet is normally 3mm white correx, but again could be foam pvc board, aluminium and so forth.

Clip frames are manufactured in either 25mm or 38mm sections. The clip frames comprise a base unit joined to a cover section using high tensile sprung steel springs. Simply snap open the cover, remove the transparent front sheet to insert your poster. Replace the front sheet and snap shut. Easy!!

The cover is normally supplied in a silver anodised finish, but we can supply in almost any Ral colour. Although most suppliers sell the frames in standard sizes such as A1, A2 etc, Brownings’ speciality is manufacturing the clip frames to virtually any bespoke size to suit your needs.
